Discernment is the act of being able to grasp and comprehend what is obscure. It is a keen intellectual vision. There are two paths discerning and simple. A discerning person will listen, pay attention, understand his spiritual side, judge and discern all things and be intentionally developing the mind of Christ. Without discernment the simple will be led astray and will lack morals, good judgment, be on the wrong path, be dull of hearing and need to be continually retaught.
