RRD Bible Study - Abiding in Christ

Abide means remain, continue, abide or dwelling. Abiding in Christ is to continue in him as my source of strength. A branch cannot bear fruit without the life giving source of the vine. When I abide in Christ, I awake with a song in my heart of a Scripture on my tongue.

RRDD What Gives The Lion Authority to Devour?

So how do we escape a ravenous beast? Be of sober spirit, be on alert. For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 The Holy Spirit gives us a boldness and a power. This inherent power reproduces itself but needs a constant indwelling, inflowing of the Holy Spirit to sustain. May you stir up the flame within you and receive the gifts of God in your life. 

RRD Bible Study -- Trust

We can't indulge anger or bitterness and reap love. We will reap what we sow.

RRDD Discouragement

Discouragement is the enemy's tool to keep us from enjoying life. Encourage one another daily, as long as it is called "Today", so that none of you may be hardened by sin's deceitfulness. Hebrews 3:13. May you receive a joyful happy heart and your bones be fat. Proverbs 15:30 Keep growing my friends. 

RRDD Envy

A heart of peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones. Proverbs 14:30 This short devotion helps us identify envy and exchange it for peace. May you examine all confusion  and reject all strife. May you have a heart of peace to enjoy your days. 

RRDD What’s For Supper?

We need spiritual food to grow. Jeremiah 15:16 Your words were found, and I did eat them; and your word was unto me joy and rejoicing of my heart: for I am called by your name, O Lord God of hosts. May you hunger and thirst for righteousness and shake yourself out of a spirit of slumber. Let the Word of the Lord be a lamp to your feet and a light unto your path.
