For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2 Timothy 1:7 The Holy Spirit gives us a boldness and a power. This inherent power reproduces itself but needs a constant indwelling, inflowing of the Holy Spirit to sustain. May you stir up the flame within you and receive the gifts of God in your life.

RRD Principle 12
Friday May 12, 2023
Friday May 12, 2023
Principle #12 Detachment means I can enjoy my day. Detachment is not abandonment, but a healthy love for me and others. I can make decisions without fear or emotional manipulation. This includes gradual separation and launching of adult children to independent living. If I coddle other adults, it is more likely they will have a life of suffering and co-dependency.

RRD Principle 11

Principle #11 Detachment means emotionally separating myself from the problem. This is simple, but not easy. Immaturity soaks up the emotions around me and mirrors them back. As I mature emotionally, I can feel my own emotions and let others feel their own. I can change the things I can and release the things I cannot change and purpose to enjoy my day.
