Bitterness blocks the grace of God and causes depression. This lesson teaches how to tear down ungodly strongholds and build godly ones for emotional maturity to weather any storm. There is teaching on how to enlarge our heart to overcome un-forgiveness. We will identify toxic offenders and our responses and how to reprogram them. We will practice how to build righteous character and release old wounds.

What rules your internal world: Passivity or Strength. When we are passive, all kinds of noise will shove its way into our thinking. Passive thinking is anxious, emotionally disturbing, and imbalanced. Strong thinking is intentional. It does not stop all noisy negative thinking, but it gives us the skill to move the thinking outside of ourselves instead of internalizing it. It helps us engage our strong/mature side to rebalance ourselves within minutes. There is no reason to stay stuck in emotions for days, weeks, months, years or even decades.

We are made in three parts: spirit, soul and body. The soul is also in three parts: mind, will, and emotions. The spirit is justified when we are first born again. But the soul must be regenerated, and the body sanctified through Christ. Then we can glorify God, the Father, with our good works. Regeneration of your soul will place it under the dominion of the Holy Spirit and you can learn to rule and reign your internal world through the fruit of the Spirit.

The soul is the moral and emotional nature of human beings. it has been described as the mind, will and emotions.

It is my responsibility to listen and hear wisdom. Be attentive and to discipline myself in the Word and grow in wisdom and understanding. I must believe and not be lazy. Then, the Holy Spirit can promote and honor me and give me a garland of grace and a crown of glory.

Prudence is the ability to govern and discipline oneself by the use of reason. The prudent see danger and takes refuge and hides himself. The simple keep going and suffer for it. The simple believe anything and inherit folly. A fool shows his annoyance or anger, blurts out foolish words, exposes his folly, is deceitful and refuses discipline or authority. The prudent accepts correction and is crowned with knowledge.

Righteousness is acting in accord with divine and moral law; free from guilt or sin. Think of doing what is "right". Justified means God is making us worthy of salvation. The peaceable fruit of righteousness is found through discipline (chastisement). After chastisement, we can be partakers of His holiness. The blessings of righteousness is peace, quietness and confidence.
