RRD Principle 9

Detachment means to bear another person's crisis, but to allow him to carry his own personal load. A crisis is an accident, injury, severe illness, or natural disaster. A personal load is paying my own rent, utilities, car insurance, car payments, gas, and food. I am not talking about the fiscally responsible working poor, ill or sober homeless.

If I become a pushover for the irresponsible, I will reap the consequences. If I am over-responsible, it will allow others to be under-responsible. This lesson includes an entanglement gauge or reviews true and false recovery markers.
